Ahoy, matey! To command one of our vessels, you need to be at least 18 years old with a valid U.S. Government-issued ID to sign the rental agreement. To operate one of our watercraft, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Have a Boater Safety License if you were born on or after January 1, 1984

Absolutely, matey! Feel free to bring your cooler along. If you’re bringing grog or other adult beverages, make sure you have a designated driver to keep the fun safe on the lake. And if ye forgot snacks or ice for your cooler, our c-store has got ye covered with everything you need to keep your adventure fueled!

Ahoy there! We’re a family-friendly marina, ready to create unforgettable memories for every age group. We’ve got a pirate-themed Kids Zone right on the dock where your little pirates can:

• Feed the fish
• Use a net to capture their very own floating pirate duck to take home
• Enjoy a free lollipop (with parents’ discretion)
• Receive a miniature US flag during holidays
• Earn a Captain’s Certificate, naming them an honorary captain for the day
• Get a pirate eye patch to look the part

And remember:

• By Missouri law, kids 7 and under must be in life jackets at all times while on the dock and boat
• WFO provides these life jackets to ensure your young buccaneers stay safe

No, you only pay for what you use.  You have a full tank when you embark on your adventure.  Our gas tanks hold 50 gallons and are full when you embark on your adventure. The duration of a tank of fuel depends on various factors, such as the conditions of the lake, the weight on board, pulling a tube, your speed, wind, weather, and more.

We do not sell fuel to the public, so our renters enjoy a better rate on refilling. If you’ve rented one of our boats for the day and are close to our location, stop by for a refill, and we’ll simply add it to your invoice to pay at the end of your voyage. Of course, you are more than welcome to fuel up at other gas docks if needed.

So, keep an eye on your fuel gauge and plan your voyage accordingly!

Yes, damage deposits are required for all of our watercraft.  We do not offer any form of insurance coverage. The responsibility for the watercraft rests with the lessee. So, take good care of your vessel while you enjoy your adventure on the lake!  We put a credit hold on your card for damage deposit of $300 for each boat you rent and $500 each for our new Yamaha Waverunners.  Once the watercraft returns and there is no damage the credit hold is released from your card.  Your bank determines when the hold will release from your card. 

Shiver me timbers: Lake of the Ozarks weather can be unpredictable; it might call for rain and then stay dry. So, we make decisions based on the actual conditions at the time of your rental..   If the rain be pouring down when you arrive, there’s no need to cast off. But if it’s just cloudy or overcast, we’ll still set ye on your way. For truly foul weather, we don’t expect  you to go out and will refund, or prorate your fee if you are caught out in inclement weather and have to  return to our dock   Safety first, me hearties!

Arrr, some of our mighty vessels can hold up to 13 souls, including the captain, per USCG regulations. But beware, it’s not just about the number of passengers; weight restrictions apply too. Every booty in a seat, along with all the coolers and treasure chests ye bring aboard, must adhere to these limits. Check the description on our booking page for the specific passenger capacity of each boat. If yer crew be larger than the capacity rating for any of our ships, ye’re welcome to rent two boats to accommodate your larger party. Enjoy your lake adventure, mateys!

Canceling more than 7 days before your reservation date will result in a full refund of your payment, minus a $20.00 cancellation fee. To cancel, please email RentBoats@wfowatersports.com.

Canceling less than 7 days before the reservation date will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If ye be a no-call or no-show on the day of the rental, ye will be charged the full rate.

While we aren’t a charter company, we can certainly provide ye with a list of trusted drivers and captains for ye to contact. This way, ye can sit back, relax, and enjoy your ride. We warmly welcome all adventurers, including those with special accessibility needs. Our handicap parking be right next to a short, slight incline ramp leading to the dock where your boat awaits. We have the most easily accessible ramp and dock at the lake, and we also have a brand new ADA-compliant bathroom on site. Everyone’s welcome to join the adventure!

To embark on one of our vessels, ye’ll need a valid driver’s license and a deposit. For those renting our boats or WaveRunners who were born after January 1, 1984, a boating license is also required. No boating license? No problem! Ye can get a temporary license at boat-ed.com/missourirental. Keep in mind, the temporary license is a one-time deal and it’s for a limited period of time. If ye’ve already had one, ye’ll need to obtain a full license at boat-ed.com which is good for LIFE! If ye have an active or unexpired boating license from any other U.S. state, we will honor that as well.

Avast Ye! We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes before your scheduled rental time. This gives ye plenty of time to complete the paperwork and receive important safety instructions. Remember, your rental time starts at your booked time, so don’t be late, as your four hours or nine hours start ticking at that assigned time. Arrive early and make the most of your adventure!

No. Boat and Waverunners are not allowed to be driven in the dark as they do not have navigation alights.  Per insurance regulations, they cannot be operated  before 7 a.m. and must be docked a half hour before sunset. 

We are located at 4415 Sky Harbor Drive, Osage Beach, MO 65065. For the best navigational directions, use a map app on your phone by entering our address. We’re centrally located in the heart of Osage Beach, MO, conveniently near Walmart by land off of Business 54, and by water at the 17.5 mm in Backwater Jack’s Cove, surrounded by many fun restaurants, water bars, and other local businesses.

Our new parking lot includes ample parking right at the dock—no stairs! Drive right up to the dock and park on our new asphalt lot. From there, a short, slight incline ramp will get you on board your boat. No lugging coolers down stairs or hauling them back up when you’re tired. It’s all smooth sailing from your car to the boat!

We do!  These have to be rented by calling our office at  573-302-0744 to ensure the boats will be docked at a slip within our boundaries.  Multi-Day rentals are not allowed to be driven before 7 a.m. and have to be moored no later than half hour before sunset.

Every vessel comes equipped with USCG-approved life jackets for all passengers and any other USCG-required safety equipment.
